Sunday Muse #198

Welcome Musers! This week I decided to do something different and post a group of photos similar to how our amazing friend and poet Shay (aka Fireblossom) used to do.  Mostly, I just couldn’t make my mind up.  Decisions……decisions…….LOL

So, you can choose an image to write to or if you want to be a “fancy pants” you can write a piece that goes with more than one photo.  I look forward to seeing where they lead you.

Have fun everyone!

  1. Really liked the prompts today — especially one. Took me to Emeral the Earth Witch, mother protector of the elements of earth. She is not happy. I invite you to come meet her… 😏

  2. Only one of these 'spoke' to me so the choice was easy and the poem took its lead from that!

    1. That is what can be nice about having a selection; what speaks to one does not to another. I look forward to reading yours Laura!

  3. Hi Carrie! What a great selection of images, all very evocative. I'm glad I discovered the Sunday Muse :-)

Any idea who the photographer is for the couple in the lake with the umbrella? Just wanted to credit them on my post. No worries if not.

  5. CARRIE, COULD YOU DELETE MY ENTRY ON #197? Something has gone awry with that entry, and the poem has disappeared from my files! The URL takes people nowhere. Sorry.

    2. Shay, I'm commenting here because I don't want to comment under my gmail on your blog, but I wanted to tell you that I absolutely LOVE your "For Su Griffin" (that folds her heart, the dough the sheets - amazing) and "Self Portrait" (love this narrator. This would be such an awesome read-aloud piece)

  12. I was thinking about the first images and then the last one, of the room, hit me.
It took me right back to happy days with a dear friend.
    Thanks a lot!!!
Think I finally said a bit of goodbye....

Maybe over time I'll make some changes...

    Enjoy the new week!!!
