Welcome Musers! This week I decided to do something different
and post a group of photos similar to how our amazing friend and poet Shay (aka
Fireblossom) used to do. Mostly, I just
couldn’t make my mind up. Decisions……decisions…….LOL
So, you can choose an image to write to or if you want to be
a “fancy pants” you can write a piece that goes with more than one photo. I look forward to seeing where they lead you.
Have fun everyone!

Really liked the prompts today — especially one. Took me to Emeral the Earth Witch, mother protector of the elements of earth. She is not happy. I invite you to come meet her… 😏
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to meeting her! Happy Saturday Rob!
DeleteGood Saturday Morning Musers! 😎
ReplyDeleteOnly one of these 'spoke' to me so the choice was easy and the poem took its lead from that!
ReplyDeleteThat is what can be nice about having a selection; what speaks to one does not to another. I look forward to reading yours Laura!
DeleteHi Carrie! What a great selection of images, all very evocative. I'm glad I discovered the Sunday Muse :-)
ReplyDeleteAny idea who the photographer is for the couple in the lake with the umbrella? Just wanted to credit them on my post. No worries if not.
I am delighted you like them Sunra, and I am so glad you discovered the Muse as well. I am digging deeper to see if I can find the photographer. I will message you at your blog when I have an answer. :-)
DeleteGreetings and salutations, Musers! Great images, Carrie! We shall see how far I get without my PC, iPad a poor substitute.
ReplyDeleteGreetings my friend! I cannot wait to see where you head, and I hope your iPad serves you well!
DeleteCARRIE, COULD YOU DELETE MY ENTRY ON #197? Something has gone awry with that entry, and the poem has disappeared from my files! The URL takes people nowhere. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteNo apologies needed Bev. I will delete it. Sometimes technology can be a pain in the neck....at least for me it is. :-)
DeleteWonderful images, Carrie.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Sherry. I hope one of them inspires you to poetry!
DeleteFYI everyone, I updated a credit for a couple of the images for those of you that feel more comfortable having one. I think I got slap happy this week with several images and did not dig deep enough. Thanks Musers!!
ReplyDeleteCan’t make it copy please delete Carrie! I detest using iPad.
ReplyDeleteWhew!! Brain overcame iPad, please delete the mistake! Cheers.
ReplyDeleteNo worries...I will head to the linky laboratory now and make one link disappear.

DeleteOk, where did you get that picture of me? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI snapped it while you were not looking.....during the burn ban in Arizona. LOL
DeleteShay, I'm commenting here because I don't want to comment under my gmail on your blog, but I wanted to tell you that I absolutely LOVE your "For Su Griffin" (that folds her heart, the dough the sheets - amazing) and "Self Portrait" (love this narrator. This would be such an awesome read-aloud piece)
DeleteLove that you took this path, Carrie. I am not feeling up to writing today but hopefully one of these will get me going sooner or later. I love the owls!
ReplyDeleteThank you Joy, and I do hope you return. I always love our poetry! I love the owls as well, and that is the image I chose. :-)
DeleteHedgewitch, I don't like to comment under my gmail so I will post here - I loved your piece "Lincoln frees the owls". Absolutely captivating from the first stanza and brilliant.
DeleteI was thinking about the first images and then the last one, of the room, hit me.
ReplyDeleteIt took me right back to happy days with a dear friend.
Thanks a lot!!!
Think I finally said a bit of goodbye....
Maybe over time I'll make some changes...
Enjoy the new week!!!
Hey Syl, I am glad you are here and look forward to visiting your lovely blog!
DeleteDang, it almost 1 pm before I woke up today. It put me way behind. Carrie, I know these images will be creating a lot of good poetry.
ReplyDeleteYou probably needed some extra rest Lisa. Yes, I am really enjoying the different directions taken.
DeleteOh well...there's always a fancy pants in a group...I just can't help myself :)
ReplyDeleteLOL well there is nothing wrong with being fancy Rall. 🤩 I am heading your way now. Have a wonderful Sunday!
DeleteGood Sunday to all poets
ReplyDeletemuchlove...
