Hey everyone, it's me, Fireblossom, with your weekly picture prompt.
First, a couple of business matters. One, there will be no Sunday Muse next weekend for a Christmas break. It will return again on New Year's Day. Second, this will be my final prompt here at Muse. I want to concentrate on my weekly Word List at my blog. Thanks to Carrie for inviting me to be here and letting me post here once a month. I will still be here as a participant.
Now, your prompt! This week's theme is "cosplay creatures"! You get a choice of any or all of three images to write poetry for. Here are your three pix:
Then just write, link, visit, enjoy!
I had a hoot with this one, really!ReplyDelete
You sure did, Darius! Oh my gosh, that was a stitich!Delete
Btw good morning and welcome to all, including Darius's 'shroom-altered owl. :-PReplyDelete
LOL. Tell that bird of yours to straighten up and fly right, Darius! :-PDelete
Sounds like Darius really is a hoot or at least an early bird! LOL! Morning Shay, Darius and everyone! 🤩 Love this prompt Shay!! 😍ReplyDelete
Good morning, Carrie! Thank you for giving me a poetic home here when I was wandering in the bloggy desert!Delete
You are very welcome my friend! It has been wonderful having you here! I will be participating at your wonderful Word list as well. The Word List is a wonderful prompt, I have been enjoying it so much!Delete
Fun characters this morning.ReplyDelete
Shay, please stay, do you have to go? We'll miss you--but you can still come write.
Mine was short this morning but 23 syllables longer than Haiku.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
As long as it's snot haiku, Jim! ;-)Delete
Love the photos Shay. Hypnotized by the crow. Great prompt my friend! 👍✌🏼❤️ReplyDelete
Sorry to learn you are departing. Be well! 🙂Delete
"La la la, mmm, mmm, ooh baby baby!" (Singing in the shower...)ReplyDelete
And here I thought that was Smoky Robinson I was hearing.Delete
Apparently even Qbit sounds better singing in the shower. :-))Delete
LMAO @ Carrie!Delete
Good morning & happy holidays, all. Shay, your prompts will be much missed here but love the word lists. I'm unfortunately starting my writing break a little early as I messed up a hip a few days ago (acting the fool and trying to balance like a tween in the car while looking at Christmas lights and having a conversation with someone in the backseat...it's not serious but I'm going to be spending time on the heating pad this weekend) and I'm not supposed to be spending time sitting at the pc. Like I'm doing now. :)ReplyDelete
Gosh almost anything can cripple us anymore! So sorry to hear you are sore, and I hope that you feel better really soon!Delete
Aawwww man I am so sorry to hear that Chrissa. I have had issues with my hip in the past....and if you read my post you will know....ironically. Get rest and heal my friend.Delete
Feel better Chrissa. Life is a conspiracy to find our weak spots sometimes. ((())))Delete
I LOVE these images! Wonderful! And timely, for me, as it turns out in this particular moment. Gah re you withdrawing from prompts. But thank you for all the ones you provided. The Muse and earthweal are my only two places these days, with my limited energy. Glad you will still post here.ReplyDelete
You are, of course, invited to participate in my Word List prompt every Monday at Word Garden, Sherry. It stays "live" thru Friday each week.Delete
Those are some freaky images. I'm sure some entertaining poems will come out of them! Shay, I'll look for your Word Garden and try to participate if I can.ReplyDelete
I'd love to have you t the Word List! Monday the list will be drawn from the poems of Gregory Corso.Delete
Hi I hope you are all rarin to go for such a merry ChristmasReplyDelete
I couldn't resist.ReplyDelete
...not that I didn't try.
Resistance is futile. :-PDelete
Shay, you don't know how much I needed to find poetry in me today. I wrote for all three of them. Thanks for all the photo inspiration you've provided and hopefully I will find more poetry when I visit for your wordlists.ReplyDelete
So glad you found it inspiring, my friend. :-)Delete
Good Sunday. Happy Holidays to allReplyDelete
I have been on a move. Have shifted to a new place and busy unpacking. But, The Sunday Muse is my destressing time. Wishing you all an advance Merry Christmas. Have a wonderful time with your loved ones. Family matters :)ReplyDelete
Merry Christmas, Sunita and may the unpacking progress swiftly!Delete
Just realized i forget to leave a comment here yesterday! Not that I'm out of it or anything. This time of year is always filled with lassitude and lack of inspiration for me--thank you Shay for providing these pics, which kidnapped me at gunpoint and forced me to write for all of them. No need for visits to them all, Musers--I know you're busy and nothing is more tedious than someone posting three separate entries for the same prompt! But they were too different to post together. Thanks for all the great pics over the years, Shay. I will be at your word list with bells on. Merry Christmas all!ReplyDelete
You could never be 'tedious" if you tried, dear BFF! Happy Horrordays. ;-)Delete
Shay, I will miss your prompts, but thankfully, not your writing.ReplyDelete
Happy Holidays to all who muse!
Thanks! I'll be around. ;-)Delete
