Sunday Muse #191

Hey everyone, it's me, Fireblossom, with your weekly picture prompt.

First, a couple of business matters. One, there will be no Sunday Muse next weekend for a Christmas break. It will return again on New Year's Day.  Second, this will be my final prompt here at Muse. I want to concentrate on my weekly Word List at my blog. Thanks to Carrie for inviting me to be here and letting me post here once a month. I will still be here as a participant.

Now, your prompt! This week's theme is "cosplay creatures"! You get a choice of any or all of three images to write poetry for. Here are your three pix:

Then just write, link, visit, enjoy!

  4. Fun characters this morning.
Shay, please stay, do you have to go? We'll miss you--but you can still come write.
Mine was short this morning but 23 syllables longer than Haiku.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

  7. Good morning & happy holidays, all. Shay, your prompts will be much missed here but love the word lists. I'm unfortunately starting my writing break a little early as I messed up a hip a few days ago (acting the fool and trying to balance like a tween in the car while looking at Christmas lights and having a conversation with someone in the backseat...it's not serious but I'm going to be spending time on the heating pad this weekend) and I'm not supposed to be spending time sitting at the pc. Like I'm doing now. :)

    2. Aawwww man I am so sorry to hear that Chrissa. I have had issues with my hip in the past....and if you read my post you will know....ironically. Get rest and heal my friend.

    3. Feel better Chrissa. Life is a conspiracy to find our weak spots sometimes. ((())))

  8. I LOVE these images! Wonderful! And timely, for me, as it turns out in this particular moment. Gah re you withdrawing from prompts. But thank you for all the ones you provided. The Muse and earthweal are my only two places these days, with my limited energy. Glad you will still post here.

  12. Shay, you don't know how much I needed to find poetry in me today. I wrote for all three of them. Thanks for all the photo inspiration you've provided and hopefully I will find more poetry when I visit for your wordlists.

  15. Just realized i forget to leave a comment here yesterday! Not that I'm out of it or anything. This time of year is always filled with lassitude and lack of inspiration for me--thank you Shay for providing these pics, which kidnapped me at gunpoint and forced me to write for all of them. No need for visits to them all, Musers--I know you're busy and nothing is more tedious than someone posting three separate entries for the same prompt! But they were too different to post together. Thanks for all the great pics over the years, Shay. I will be at your word list with bells on. Merry Christmas all!
