  2. Blogger gave me absolute hell arranging this. I never could get the spacing right on the first two lines. Every time I tried, it changed the font and really drove me crazy. Anyway, it's up. Happy Saturday, all.

  7. Hi Carrie! This is a tough day for me, July 3rd. It’s a day of remembrance each year. This is the date my beautiful 18-year-old son Aaron was tragically killed, while working a summer job, prior to leaving for college. I think of him sometime in everyday. I miss him deeply. Sometimes I cry. Thanks to time, most memories I now have of him are sweet. However, that day broke me in ways that have never been, and will never be fixed. I used this visual prompt to write a tribute to Aaron.

  9. She has Texas hips

    and stretched, rust-rubbed-in rope-locks

    that reach, root to tip,

    from sable storm clouds, about

to rain, to groans that need it.

    Bit late.
One of my daughters had surgery last week and she doesn't seem to recover from the pain... Now she is asleep.

Hope you all will have a good week.

Thank you for your kind comments...
