Where a picture really does speak a thousand words.
Good morning Qbit! :-)
Happy Saturday Everyone! :-)
Hello Carrie and all Sunday Musers - and it is a Happy Saturday here in the UK as the rain for today has stopped. I seem to be first this time around but have just got back from a few days break and the Muse was evidently raring to go with this wild one!
So glad you are here Laura and that the rain has stopped. Hopefully you will have a sunny day today! I look forward to reading your poetry!
Laura: In my best BBC accent..."Now, today's weather: In the North, clouds, rain, some sun. In the South, occasional rain, sun, with clouds. In the East, cloudy with some rain and some sun. In the West, clouds, rain, and occasional sun."The forecast for England, every single day of the year!
I guess rain is a daily part of weather there. I should start an umbrella company and move to the UK! :-))
Well, I HAVE to write to this picture! How wonderful!
Yay!! I am delighted you like it Sherry!
Love the visual prompt Carrie! I immediately got the sense he was looking at me while he drank — and he was not happy. He wanted to say something — so I let him talk, very carefully transcribing his poignant words for my piece today!
Could be a she…
Sounds like the image is speaking to you loudly Rob. Looking forward to your response.
Carrie, please, Caretaker Dear, accept my apology for entering my wrong link, the first one. Our "Magical Mystical Teacher" hosts a "Shadow Shots" blog on the weekend and I had previously posted my information to his blog. Foolishly I had armed your Mr. Linky before clearing out the old information and in the clearing process I paused to answer a question that Mrs. Jim had posed. My finger dropped to the POST Button and that earlier link promptly posted. It is not in poem or writing form but rather pictures we have taken or sometimes run across. ..
No worries Jim. I will delete the wrong link for ya, glad to do it.
Thank you for hosting, Carrie. I am slow today, but did start writing last night. I tried to finish this morning but the writing got away from my plan. So I started all over on a different track...
You are very welcome. We all have days like that Jim. I look forward to reading it.
Hi gang. I've got some sort of flu, so may not be able to write this time, but maybe tomorrow.
I hope you feel better soon my friend! Sending a hug and hoping you can feel well enough to write tomorrow, we do love your poetry!!
Write! Never let a good delirium go to waste!!!
Carrie... I'm a sucker for wolves. Stood face to face with a wolf (okay, about twenty-five yards off) under the Northern Lights, watching the sun peek up over the horizon on a dreadfully short Alaskan winter day. I was more impressed than he was.
Wow Charley, what an experience! I am sure that has been poetically inspiring!!
Great photo - it truly spoke to me.
Hi, I had trouble with my link. Can you delete the first one? Many thanks.
I am so glad it spoke to you my friend! I will delete the wrong link in a little bit.
Thanks for the interesting prompt.Have a great week all!!
You are quite welcome Syl! So glad you are here! Wishing you a great week too!
A thought provoking prompt which deserved a better poem. Having a rough day. I wrote whatever the image spoke to me. Happy Sunday Carrie :)
I am sorry to hear you are having a rough day Sunita, but I am so glad you are here and look e to reading your poetry! Happy Sunday my friend!
Happy Sunday everyone. Be Safe.Much💛love
Happy Sunday dear Gillena!
Since the West Coast is in the midst of a record-breaking heat wave, and my daughter and husband are moving my granddaughter home to Oregon from California, my thoughts turned westward to the heat wave, praying no lightning sets off any fires.
Sounds like you have a lot going on my friend. I look forward to reading your words. Stay cool if you can.
Love the image Carrie. Happy Sunday everyone.
That makes me happy my friend! Happy Sunday to you too!
My Mr. Linky submit not showing up on the list... I tried adding again, says link is already published...
OK, there now. That's sort of odd. But all good!
Sometimes Mr Linky likes to do magic tricks. 😎
qbit, your comment about your white wolf has me intrigued. I typed white wolf into your search thingy on your blog but nothing came up. Have you written about him? I would love to read about him.
