Sunday Muse #165

Hello Musers! Fireblossom here with your picture prompt to inspire your poetic writing this weekend. You know what to do....take a gander, get inspired, write a poem, link it, visit others, dye your hair purple. Okay, I made up that last, about the hair. :-p

    1. That's not really commentary, just literally what I was doing at that moment.

    2. I learned how the dying is done here. One of the techs at our Pharmacy, a natural red head, dyed the top longer and there it stands straight up. From the part down is natural red, both sides were that way. She smiled when I told her it looked nice. Really, I could do that to mine but my situations would part me out to my lower side.
Mrs. Jim didn't know for months after our marriage that I was dying my hair to hide some white ones.

  6. Hi all! Oh wow Shay, I looooove this visual prompt. Like a hammer to the head, like a bullet to the brain — I knew instantly where I was going with this. Great prompt! I’m having Iggy accompany my piece with a tune — do be warned! 😏✌🏼

  7. Happy weekend everyone!

I usually use Henna to make my already red hair even redder. :-D

Really liked where the prompt took me. Hope you have as fun reading as I had writing.

  8. First time participating. A mélange response -- this image with an opening line prompt from elsewhere. Haven't dyed my hair in years. . .

  9. The photo went into more of a story than a poem, but it needed to be written.
    Thanks for the prompt!

    Have a wonderful week.

  11. I thought so many naughty things when I looked at this photo but decided on a political bent instead.

  12. A somewhat spooky picture. But that's a classic car - the Austin Princess, Queen of British roads in the 1950's and 60's
