Sunday Muse #161

We have a special Muse for you this week everyone! We have 2 Geminis in the house this month, Shay & Carrie (Moi) and so we both are going to provide an image in honor of our zodiac sign. Doesn’t that sound cool?  To top it off today is Shay’s birthday!  Happy Birthday my friend! You can go with either image at the end of this post or be super fancy and do both!

Have double the fun this week everyone!

Now for a little extra something from the Gemini Gals:

I am proud to share Gemini-ness with Carrie! It's like there are four of us in the room, with double twins!

If you meet this woman on the road, cross the street. She'll either talk about her dog or complain about haiku.

I work in a library that is surrounded by gardens and woods.  I am a lucky old lady!

Now below is your musing material, double double toil and trouble.  We look forward to reading your amazing words!

  2. Good afternoon (at the moment)

    Happy birthday, both!!!

    Wrote the first one.
    Interesting images!!

Also added a blogger site (in the making), so I can comment on every poem.
Makes it one click away from the poetry site but I think we can live with it.

Have a great and interesting weekend!!

    1. Cool. I have to use my coalblack ID for WordPress blogs, similarly.

    2. Than you!! I actually have a WordPress blog, but I never use it, cause blogger is much more friendly to the non-tech person. :-)

    3. I attempted a WordPress blog months ago, it was so darned convoluted, I gave up. I do have a sign-in presence making comments simple.

    4. I hear ya Helen! Yes that is the one good thing is I can comment with no worries on a WordPress blog. :-)

  4. Hi gang. I wish you both a great birthday! I went was in a dark mood this weekend, and I created this piece to do double duty covering prompts for the week that spoke to me of the impact of duality; good/bad, light/dark, right/wrong, yes/no, just/unjust — it ended up dark… but hopeful, I hope. And read nothing particularly personal into the work this week — beyond that which we all share being human in these times. Sincerely — happiest of birthdays!

  8. The Blogger platform remains an enigma. I will go for several weeks posting comments for the poets who use Blogger — no problem. Then all of s sudden I get a message of “thst’s an error”, and my commdnt is rejected. Don’t understand it, don't have time to fool with it — I just move on. So far today, Helen and Bev, your sites rejected me. 😕 There may be more? Liked your eork though!🙂

  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Carrie, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Shay, a nice set of pictures for us to write for your tribute. I don't do the signs and haven't studied Geminis so that doesn't help me much with you all, including the ones in your pictures. So they reminded me again of the naughty girls, though I am sure each has outgrown that.
I am not feeling well and almost didn't write so my effort is truly for you. I had MASSIVE dental surgery this week with complications, won't mention my broken toe. But the young ladies pictured set my smartphone to work.
