"Natural Woman" Digital Collage Art "Covid Creations" by Susie Clevenger
Good morning and welcome everyone. We are delighted you are here! It is Carrie
this week with art from one of our own poets on blogger, Susie Clevenger. Her digital art is so lovely and thought
provoking and I have been admiring it for a while. I had a light bulb moment earlier this week,
and decided to pursue featuring her art for our musing. Thank you, Susie, for giving us the opportunity
to write to your amazing art!
I cannot wait to see the different directions
this takes you!
Have fun everyone!
What a terrific piece of art!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is.....everything I browsed through on her site, was amazing....it was hard to make up my mind! Hope your morning is going good Qbit. :-)
DeleteThanks so much.
DeleteLove this, Susie! And thanks for hosting, Carrie. Much to take with me and wrestle with today...
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome Zander. Yes, this one has many facets to take in. I love it too. I look forward to seeing what you and Qbit write! See you after a while. :-)
DeleteThank you so much Zander
DeleteBeing first to the party usually means getting the best hors devours. 😎
ReplyDeleteYum.
DeleteI second the Yum! :-)
DeleteI had two Vienna sausages on five crackers with my ten med pills this morning, does that count? I would share.
Delete..
Generous to a fault, Jim.
Deletehaha that is funny and first to get that much needed glass of wine...
DeleteSusie's digital art is fascinating .....
ReplyDeleteYes indeed!! I was mesmerized by it!
DeleteThank you Helen!
DeleteBravo to Susie for that lovely bit of digital art! My housemates have been in Hilton Head for 10 days and I haven't been out of the house for days on end. I'm afraid I have a case of the Covid Isolation Blues, longing for the sound of a human voice not my own! Looking forward to what everyone does with this beautiful art.
ReplyDeleteI know that has to be rough Beverly. I hope that the time you have left in isolation goes quickly. I am looking forward to reading yours too. I just finished mine, so I will be reading everyone's in just a bit. :-)
DeleteThanks so much Beverly!
DeleteGreat image. But, as always, beware when I feel moved by a piece of artwork. It never goes as planned.
ReplyDeleteNo warnings needed Charley. I am sure we will love it!
DeleteCharley, thank you. I am never sure where my muse will go.

ReplyDeleteSusie's art is thought provoking and so beautiful! Glad it sparked your Muse!
DeleteThank you!
DeleteI always thought susie's art was a perfect fit for the Muse. I am now moved, but struggling with fatigue and vertigo. Will be by to write when i can.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right Sherry. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
DeleteThank you Sherry! Hope you are feeling much better soon.
DeleteVertigo is the worst—so scary and unsettling.
DeleteYes vertigo is awful! I have had it many times! 😭
DeleteThe moon
ReplyDeleteis a thrift-store maven,
smocked in mauve
to burning mahogany
from anklet
to fondled chin.
"The moon / is a thrift-store maven" - Oh yes! That is terrific!
DeleteYour poetics of the moon are gorgeous!!!
DeleteOh, I love this so much!!!

DeleteWishes for a Happy Sunday
ReplyDelete(✿◠‿◠)
much love...
Same to you dear Gillena! 💜
DeleteHappy Sunday Gillena
DeleteMy muse certainly was moved by the artwork. Happy Sunday on this snowy day here.
ReplyDeleteThank You!!
DeleteGlad you are here Truedessa! Stay warm and happy Sunday to you too!
DeleteThanks Carrie for choosing my art this week!
ReplyDeleteIt is my pleasure and thank you so much for sharing it with us! I love all your Covid Creations Susie! 🤩
DeleteI like the collaging aspect of the Digital Art. I'm not artistic at all, have not left the stickman stage yet. But I can sketch, then place my characters, etc. in the places. I have found YouTube tutorial pages, YouTube taught me bathroom sink plumbing, so perhaps how to do this.
ReplyDeleteBut never, never, would mine be as nice as Susie's. I suggest we all go see (cross you fingers, Pinterest might want you to open an account to look, Bozos}.
..
Yes collage art is wonderful and Susie is so very talented. I think you could be better at art than you think Jim. You just have to dive in and try.
