Sunday Muse #140

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, Musers!

We're on the edge of a new year and while you may know my preference for schemes over resolutions, maybe there are other ways to organize those things we hope for, those things we'll miss, and those things we are sure we don't see coming than either schemes or resolutions. I hope that this is a good space for exploring the pauses. How will the in-between poems turn out?

  1. Is that twinkle in my eye light from the year ahead, or is it shards of glass from the rearview mirror...

Might be all I can do for today, Happy New Year everyone!

  3. Hi kids, I just wrote a poem that might fit under Chrissa's mention of in-between poems. Thank you for being here all year. Even when I am too flummoxed to take part, I am grateful you are here.

  5. I had a bit of fun with this. Ended up takin’ it to a place I didn’t expect. I like the result though. This came from a memory of a frequent experience I enjoyed. Changed the longer name of the place to one of brevity. Thanks for the fascinating prompt Chrissa/Carrie! :)

  9. Not sure why I didn't look here Sunday morning, my mind was saying Sabatical for the Holidays. So I grabbed all my Muse could convey for maybe 30 minutes, then back dated it at about 12:30 and came to bed, Mrs. Jim had it warm.
The write isn't real good if it everis but is told.
Thank you, Chrissa for hosting, I like your picture choice.
