Hello Musers, we are delighted you are here. Let the image move you to write, link up, and visit others along the way. Added note: we are easy peasy here so no worries or stress, just remember it is not an "open link". The photo is the true muse.
Have fun everyone!

Hi there, it's been a few years since I last did the writing prompts, what with illness and other writing projects, but I'm back - hopefully for a long time. Indeed, I saw some well remembered names on your last prompt.
ReplyDeleteI've also begun a new initiative to try to drive more participants to such sites. If you click the keyudos button on my blog's header, you'll see I've done a feature on you and other prompts. I've also begun a twitter meme #PopLitChallenge which can be used by yourself to advertise your prompts. It's good to be back.
Thank you so much Anthony for helping bring others our way!! We are so glad you are here, and look forward to reading your writing. Be by your blog soon.
DeleteThank you Carrie, and you're welcome.
Deleteanthonynorth I read your entry but couldn't manage to comment; I found the layout a little confusing, unfortunately. Anyway, I actually liked the robot one best! It's dreadful when one runs short of ingredients!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shay for being right on the money and up with the early birds. You are awesome!!
DeleteHi Fireblossom, thanks for the heads-up about the comment problem. One of my techie sons has recently revamped the site so I can start anew. He's just checked it and the comments were switched off. Everything should be working okay now, though. Sorry about that. I've used a similar format to how I used to post before. It can be confusing to begin with.
ReplyDeleteThis picture is very evocative--thanks for the opportunity to write for it.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like it Joy! :-)
DeleteHello all you early birds....so glad you are all here!! Happy Saturday writing everyone!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this photo, and will be back once my head stops shrieking in protest at being upright. Smiles.
ReplyDeletePssst Carrie, I TOLD you Sherry would love that pic! ;-)
DeleteI knew you were right too....<3 Glad you love it Sherry. We aim to please. :-)
DeleteAnthony, please check your spam file,to see if my comments re there? your site wont let me leave a comment. I run into this problem often these days. I LOVED the twist at the end of your wonderful poem, where it was the wolf doing the musing, rather than the woman. Very cool. I agree with the difficulty in finding human intelligence these days. Smiles.
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry, yes it was in spam. I wonder what's causing that? I'll keep a look out in future
DeleteGrandma holds Sunday
ReplyDeleteschool in the open, so wolves
will know they’re welcome.
Nice....I love it!
DeletePerfect. Love that.
DeleteI am late posting. My computer is all messed up and I don't know if I will be able to post. It doesn't matter because people don't comment although I always comment on their poems. You all have a good weekend and a wonderful inspired muse! Toni
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good weekend too Toni...sorry you are having computer issues. I know that makes it hard to get your blogging stuff done. See you there soon.
DeleteWell, I love the image, and everyone will know where I'm from since I boldly forgot to change it to just my name after my posting at earthweal. :) The photo took me to the snark side. :)
ReplyDeleteWell I do know where your from...my neck of the woods. LOL So glad your here Susie!!
DeleteLoving this picture, Carrie. I've lived with the wolf all my growing up, the classic 'Wolf on the Hill' was on our wall and after my parents died I have it now. It scared my sister. And I blogged about it at least once, I'll drop the link if I find it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I also live Houston, in Katy, a contiguous suburb. There's another who is writing here but right now I can't remember who.
Sorry I'm so late here, I again wrote early before I got out of bed but it is evening now already. My SIL has had a stroke, two weeks ago and is still in the hospital. We've been here with her all day. She's pretty bad off.
..
I remember you telling me about living in the Houston area. I am so sorry your sisternlaw is not doing well Jim.
DeleteDokey...
ReplyDeleteOK, that isn't a very useful comment. Oh well.
DeleteLOL no worries okie dokey is a very useful comment Qbit. Glad your diving into the comments... that's a good thing. Happy Sunday to you and everyone here! 😊🌻
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie, I really like this picture. I've posted, but I'll have to come back later to visit and read everyone's responses. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you here Mary! I am out and about today myself so it may be a couple hours before I get to yours. I am looking forward to it!
DeleteI'm late on Sunday--always a busy day for me! I found a way to a connection that surprised me in this photo. Thank you! And, well, I'll be reading bits at a time as I make my way through this busy week.
ReplyDeleteAlways wonderful to see you here Susan! Sunday can be a busy day for me too so I completely understand. Wishing you a great week. 🌻
ReplyDeleteThis image really grabbed me. I love anything that feels like a fairy tale retold.
