    2. In the end I ended with one story idea that needs loads of work. And one poem that came to me as I practiced writing Cinquains.

  2. "Spring has sprung and a young man's fancy turns to love."
I woke up about five, bath room and back to bed. But I couldn't sleep. So I picked up my phone, tuned to Sunday Muse and this lovely picture was showing. THANK YOU !!
I pecked on the keys and my poem came out. I called it a song, a love song, but I might change it to a poem.
    I'd appreciate a vote.
Oh yes. I'm still laying in bed and Mrs Jim has TV News on. I made coffee last night, I may go turn it on.

  3. A beautiful photo. The trick, for me, will be to not write a depressing poem about starving polar bears. I will slap myself upside the head and give it a try. LOL.

  4. I just wanted to let you all know that today I am going to a life celebration for my son's grandma that passed away last week, so I might be out of pocket until tomorrow afternoon. I promise to be getting by to everyone's posts eventually. Happy writing writers!

    1. Very true. I feel that I have walked a gigantic walk down memory lane. It has been both lovely and sad. 💙

  9. Dear Carrie, I couldn't post my comment on your page. It's showing 'error'. Here's what I wrote : While your poem is so full of light because of love, mine's the diametrically opposite today. This is absolutely beautiful.

  12. I'm a fan (in the abstract? in fairy tale form? as stuffed bears?) of polar bears--this is a beautiful image and I've been loving all the poems inspired by it. :)

  14. This is such a rare stay-at-home Sunday morning! What I miss in going to meeting, I entertain here. I haven't been able to write all week while grieving my country. I understand that the practice of celebrating a life together is a stage in grieving, and I feel for your sorrow, Carrie. Thank you for an image that inspired me.
