Glad all you writers stopped by today.  You know the drill, write, link, and visit others along the way.  Next week (Oct 12-13) will be hosted by one of my favorite poets in the whole world, you know who she is..........*Shay* and I am certain she will have an amazing photo in store for us all!
Have fun everyone!

  1. Happy writing everyone! I look forward to reading your words. :-)

  2. Good morning. I was out watching the Orionids last night. I will join you all later. I have to catch a few hours of kip. 😪😪

    1. I look forward to reading yours later Toni. 🤩

  3. I had the wildest dream this morning, so I wrote about it for this. I was part of some sort of Lost Patrol or something.

    1. Dark poems are captivating Rob! I look forward to reading it!

    2. I really enjoy writing to visual prompts. A number of years ago I participated for quite a few years in Tess Kincaid’s “Magpie Tales” visual prompt site. It was a wonderful time, and many, many fine poets contributed their interpretations of the images each week. You have some wonderful images that are put forth here as prompts. I am very surprised that so few poets contribute poetry here. I have been writing poetry for over 50 years, and have participated in online poetry communities since 2003, having hosted and moderated my own open-writing poetry/prose prompt site for 4 years, “Writers Island”, offering mainly visual prompts, with the occasional one-word prompt. I have just started writing again just over a year ago, after a nearly four-year sabbatical — the result of failed health. Maybe in that time since 2014 visual prompts became passé — but I love them. They are my favorite stimuli to which to write. Keep posting visual prompts and I will continue to respond! :-)

    3. I am the same way. I do love visual prompts, and I did stumble across Tess's Magpie Tales years ago and I was hooked. After she had stopped the site for quite a long time. I decided to start my own. Magpie Tales was the muse for many a poem I have written, and i will always feel a certain gratitude to Tess for that. I am glad you are doing better with your health. I know that can really knock you off your feet. Keep writing Rob, we so enjoy your poetry, and do not worry I will keep on posting. It is something I dearly love to do.

    4. But not next week. Next week is MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE lol

    5. Very true, and I cannot wait!!! So yes between Shay and me you will have at least one photo per week to write to. :-)

    6. {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} to both of you! :-)

    7. Hugs back at you Rob and sending one Shay's way as well. (As I say to my grand girls when we do group is a group hug) :-)
