Greetings Musers! So glad you are here! I have some wonderful news to share:
Starting the 3rd week of April,
Shay AKA Fireblossom from Shay's Word Garden our fellow host, friend, and Muser, will be doing her much loved & wonderful "Word Garden Word List"
HERE!!!
So be on the lookout for the April 16th weekend, and come join in the writing inspiration & fun!
Now for today, you know what to do, but make sure to have fun in the process.
😍 Carrie
Good morning everyone! ☕😊☕✍️
ReplyDeleteMine is from the archives...
ReplyDeleteThat is totally cool! Once I get mine kinda figured out I will be heading over.
DeleteWow, a photo that tells a story. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it Sherry, I feel the same way. There is a story there indeed!
DeleteSon Carl and I back from three days in Vegas ... best of all Keith Urban and the Australian BeeGees shows, sunny warm weather and miles of walks on the 'showplace' Strip. Ready for a smidge of poetry ~ this image is totally cool.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a glorious time Helen! I am ready for even more than a smidge of your lovely poetry!
DeleteThere's a little diner near where I live that's just like this -- except it's still a thriving bustle of activity and a popular local spot! My city valued its nostalgia, and it was moved from a prior location to its present spot.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome Bev. Do you go there often? I love places like that.
DeleteI probably deserve to be soundly punished for mine. :-P
ReplyDeleteHow about 20 lashings with a wet noodle. LOL
DeletePunished? I LOVE yours Shay! It's amazing especially read aloud.
DeleteBrilliant visual prompt Carrie, superb! So very inspiring! I love Sunday Muse! You never disappoint!
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope you are NOT announcing that April 16th marks the end of the brilliant, Sunday Muse visual prompts Carrie. Yours is by far the coolest prompt site on the internet, because the amazing visual prompts allow for the greatest possible freedom in releasing the imagination to spark writing. Please say you are not ending the visuals. After Tess Kincaid shut down Magpie Tales, and I had to end my Writer’s Island prompt site — Sunday Muse became the last bastion for consistently excellent visual prompts.
Thanks for the kudos Rob. Actually I too loved Magpie Tales, and when it shut down for a long time, I messaged Tess and asked her if there would be a return. Once I knew that was not happening I did let her know I was wanting to start a site like it and she gave me her kind "go for it". Tess is the best! I am a BIG fan of Shay's Word List and it will be here once a month on the third weekend. I guess I did not specify that. Sorry about that to all. Anyway, thanks again Rob and I look forward to reading your words. :-)
DeleteWhuuuw! That was me exhaling. So, so glad you are keeping the faith Carrie! I have tried Shay’s prompts a couple times. Looks like I’ll have a go once monthly now. I LOOOOVE your site Carrie! Today’s visual was outstanding! Thank you again for the energy you put into TSM!.
DeleteThe Dark Muse spoke today, maybe because it's snowing like it should have been at Christmas time outside right now.
ReplyDeleteWe all need a dark Muse once in a while Lisa. I am looking forward to reading it. Heading your way now.
DeleteThe prompt left a huge lump at this end. So many memories popped up.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading it Sunita! Heading there now.
DeleteSo... on that 3rd Sunday, we'll have the Word Garden INSTEAD of your regular prompt, Carrie? Do I understand correctly?
ReplyDelete-David [ben Alexander]
Yes, that is correct;every third weekend will be the word list we all love so much! I am looking forward to it! 🤩
DeleteBut it will be HERE now, not at Word Garden. I'm still calling it the Word Garden Word List, though.
DeleteIntriguing photo!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good Sunday everyone
much💜love
Happy Sunday to you too Gillena!
DeleteInteresting photo. For a moment I thought it was a reworked photo of Louise Reeves.
ReplyDeleteI don't know diners like that. Certainly not the state this one is in.
For today I've written, but I think I will return to the image later. But probably not today.
Thank you!
Have a good week all, and stay safe.
Hi Syl, I do hope you return. We always enjoy e poetry.
DeleteHi Carrie and Musers, Wow, that's an image to bring lots of possibilities to mind! My brain went to a daft place today, hence my response...
ReplyDeleteGlad you are here Marion!
DeleteWe need daft sometimes!
