Sunday Muse #190
Happy Weekend Muse Friends! I am glad you are here & hope this image gives you some writing inspiration! You know what to do, so I won't do the shpeel, but I will say this:
Good morning! Woke up thinking I was having some kind of muscle spasm only to discover that Arthur was curled up on the pillow beside me and shivering as the cool front blew through. He's better now. :)
Carrie, definitely an inspirational photo. The idea came to me immediately and would love to polish and expand what I've written at some point. Thank you for the wonderful image.
My grandfather wrote a poem and I remember only the first lines. The feel stayed. (The poem is written in a booklet and is in the attic). This photo made me think of it. So the poem is in his style.
Good morning y'all! 😎
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Carrie. Any coffee?
DeleteYes I have coffee for everyone, you just have to come over and get it. :-)
DeleteCoffee IV drip inserted...

ReplyDeleteAwww thank you Cressida! You made my day!
DeleteLove the photo Carrie - what a great springboard for writing.
ReplyDeleteI am delighted you love it Marion and delighted you are here!
DeleteI was feeling very very retro Carrie. I dug deep into Hector J. Peabody’s “Way-Back Machine” for a bit of golden oldie flashback foolery.
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful... heading your way now.
DeleteHappy Sunday Poets
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Truedessa! So glad you are here!
DeleteThank you Carrie for your support. I have to say some of the comments on posts made me laugh. I so needed that! It’s wonderful to be among friends.
DeleteLaughter and friends are wonderful medicine to give comfort to the hurts of life. 💖
