  1. Hello Carrie and all Sunday Musers - and it is a Happy Saturday here in the UK as the rain for today has stopped. I seem to be first this time around but have just got back from a few days break and the Muse was evidently raring to go with this wild one!

    2. Laura: In my best BBC accent...

"Now, today's weather: In the North, clouds, rain, some sun. In the South, occasional rain, sun, with clouds. In the East, cloudy with some rain and some sun. In the West, clouds, rain, and occasional sun."

The forecast for England, every single day of the year!

    3. I guess rain is a daily part of weather there. I should start an umbrella company and move to the UK! :-))

  3. Love the visual prompt Carrie! I immediately got the sense he was looking at me while he drank — and he was not happy. He wanted to say something — so I let him talk, very carefully transcribing his poignant words for my piece today!

  4. Carrie, please, Caretaker Dear, accept my apology for entering my wrong link, the first one. Our "Magical Mystical Teacher" hosts a "Shadow Shots" blog on the weekend and I had previously posted my information to his blog. Foolishly I had armed your Mr. Linky before clearing out the old information and in the clearing process I paused to answer a question that Mrs. Jim had posed. My finger dropped to the POST Button and that earlier link promptly posted. It is not in poem or writing form but rather pictures we have taken or sometimes run across.

  5. Thank you for hosting, Carrie. I am slow today, but did start writing last night. I tried to finish this morning but the writing got away from my plan. So I started all over on a different track.

  7. Carrie... I'm a sucker for wolves. Stood face to face with a wolf (okay, about twenty-five yards off) under the Northern Lights, watching the sun peek up over the horizon on a dreadfully short Alaskan winter day. I was more impressed than he was.

  12. Since the West Coast is in the midst of a record-breaking heat wave, and my daughter and husband are moving my granddaughter home to Oregon from California, my thoughts turned westward to the heat wave, praying no lightning sets off any fires.

  15. qbit, your comment about your white wolf has me intrigued. I typed white wolf into your search thingy on your blog but nothing came up. Have you written about him? I would love to read about him.
