  1. where were you when the clouds
suddenly opened to blue above our heads
like the top of an aquarium
and the Sun God sprinkled light
over our heads, fish food brilliantly sparkling,
drifting down to reflect off the ocean and sand,
and our eyes swam up, greedy, hungry
for it all, our mouths an "Oh!" and trying to sip
what was beyond even the surface,
what was hidden by the pool of sky,
    waiting again for tomorrow

    3. I love the inversion here. You've turned the world topsy turvey, qbit. I think I'll just hang by my knees from the celestial trapeze.

    5. Good Morning

Growing gills to breathe in the air
hoping the angel(fish) will hear our prayers
our words bubbling from a place of depth
      inhaling/exhaling with each breath

gbit - these words just seemed to flow
      much like your poem...thank you

  8. WOW! qbit! Your poem is so fantastic it made me embarrassed about my own. But sometimes silliness is okay. I love everything about your poem. It is wonderful.

  10. Good Morning Dear Poets!

My muse was amused by the photo today, so I had to swim to the surface and catch a verse or two.
