ReplyDeletePeter Beard was a fascinating man, immensely talented, his photographs never failed to satisfy (this lady since the 60s.) His body was discovered in 2020, in woods near his home on Long Island after missing for nearly a month. His family writing: "He died where he lived: in nature."

And, yes we are okay. We've been on a cruise, 16 days from
Ft Lauderdale to Southampton, U.K. Mrs. Jim came down with
the Covid on our 6th day and she had to quarantine. I began
testing every day for five days, on the 4th day I was positive.
So I quarantined with her, together in a different room.
Come time to disembark our quarantine time of 10 days had not
expired (for reentry into the U.S.) so they took us to a mote.
to finish our time. That added a week to our long boat ride,
long because neither of us had been able to get off to visit.
I am writing again, been since 2015, for NaPoWriMo 2022 this
year, I write as "Jim1Jim1" on the NaPoWriMo site.
