Hello Musers! Fireblossom here with your picture prompt to inspire your poetic writing this weekend. You know what to do....take a gander, get inspired, write a poem, link it, visit others, dye your hair purple. Okay, I made up that last, about the hair. :-p
Hi everyone! Happy weekend and happy writing.
ReplyDeletesnort.
ReplyDeleteThat's not really commentary, just literally what I was doing at that moment.
DeleteFly United, wheeee!
DeleteI'm sending Horatio Caine to make the bust.
DeleteI am going to live on the edge and dye my hair canary yellow instead of purple.....LOL
ReplyDeleteMorning one and all!! Love the cool and eerie image Shay!!
You're so edgy, Carrie! Hi and good to see you.:-)
DeleteLOL Hi my friend! :-)
DeleteI learned how the dying is done here. One of the techs at our Pharmacy, a natural red head, dyed the top longer and there it stands straight up. From the part down is natural red, both sides were that way. She smiled when I told her it looked nice. Really, I could do that to mine but my situations would part me out to my lower side.
DeleteMrs. Jim didn't know for months after our marriage that I was dying my hair to hide some white ones.
..
Make mine fuchsia! Was introduced to the trimeric form this week, having fun with it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday.
Hi poet friends. I have hit a dry spell where words dont come easily. But this image sparked a few lines, and memories. Nice to see you all.
ReplyDeleteHi all! Oh wow Shay, I looooove this visual prompt. Like a hammer to the head, like a bullet to the brain — I knew instantly where I was going with this. Great prompt! I’m having Iggy accompany my piece with a tune — do be warned! 😏✌🏼
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend everyone!
ReplyDeleteI usually use Henna to make my already red hair even redder. :-D
Really liked where the prompt took me. Hope you have as fun reading as I had writing.
First time participating. A mélange response -- this image with an opening line prompt from elsewhere. Haven't dyed my hair in years. . .
ReplyDeleteThe photo went into more of a story than a poem, but it needed to be written.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prompt!
Have a wonderful week.

I liked your story!
DeleteThanks for giving me a happy memory today! :-)
ReplyDeleteI thought so many naughty things when I looked at this photo but decided on a political bent instead.
ReplyDeleteA somewhat spooky picture. But that's a classic car - the Austin Princess, Queen of British roads in the 1950's and 60's
