Night owls. We hardly ever go to bed or sleep until around midnight. Nice picture for us, Mrs. Jim plays the viola, did for years in a couple of church orchestras. She went back to college after she retired to learn and to study French, three semesters of both. She's been retired 22 years now, and is glad she didn't choose the cello as it would have been too hard physically for a LOL, little old lady, to drag around. I've had two semesters of class piano, my lessons were free as a wellness project where I worked, at the college. Again, Carrie. thanks for the nice inspirational photo prompt. I'd like to do it a little bit of justice. I'll try to sleep in first. ..

Hi Carrie, Helen, Jim — generally my head hits the pillow gently here in the PacNW as the clock swings round toward 3:00 AM. Have always been a night owl, further exacerbated by the insomnia I have developed — I believe initially implanted by decades of singing and playing music into the early AM’s, in bars and nightclubs. This was followed by a professional career that enabled me to “sleep in”. I fully come alive creatively between 10PM and 3AM — can’t help it!
You could write a poetic story about your life I am sure Rob. Sounds utterly fascinating! I am a true early bird. I fall asleep early and wake before the crack of dawn. I can't help it either. LOL
hi Carrie - I ummed and ahhed with this one - not so much musically as wondering if the Muse could come up with something - in the end she did- just before bedtime so back tomorrow to read others
Something about the poetic process--the digging down, I suppose--leaves me with the lowdown blues sometimes. Anyway, mine is up, and happy weekend everyone.
